More about employee and community support:
The Converse Professional Grant Program is a community based program that involves local colleges and universities in the national areas that we serve. Aspiring professional engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists are asked to write a paper that will be judged by professionals that work in the local Converse office. Cash prizes are awarded to the winner. By engaging and involving the students in the local consultant industry, it is our goal to benefit the local community by help to train and prepare individual students prepare for their career.
The Technical Papers Grant Program and the Frederick J. Converse Award were established to encourage and recognize employees who make a valuable contribution to our consulting practice through the development and presentation of technical papers. Each year, employees can apply for a grant to offset the cost of labor and expenses for developing, presenting or publishing a technical paper. Employees may then submit a copy of their published paper for consideration for the annual Frederick J. Converse Award, which consists of a cash award and plaque.
