Environmental Site Assessment
The project consisted of the construction of an approximately 28,000 to 30,000 square foot two story medical building. The upper floor housing approximately 11,000 square feet of administrative offices and training space, including approximately 3,000 square feet of shelled space for future growth. The ground floor housing an approximate 19,000 square foot health centre, including 1,800 square feet for housing a mobile mammography unit.
Our work consisted of completing an Environmental Assessment (EA) in accordance with Section 102 of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, as implemented by the regulations promulgated by the President's Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR Parts 1500-1508). The EA included evaluating cultural resources, endangered plants and animals, mining, geology, water resources, air quality, environmental justice, socio-economic resources and visual resources.
