Confidential client, multiple facilities in central Pennsylvania
Work for this client with deep mine, surface mine, and processing facilities has included geologic and hydrogeologic aspects for mine permitting with State regulatory agency, assessment of water resources impacts, water resource utilization permitting with River Basin agency, waste management support, contingency planning, diverse resource assessment and monitoring tasks, stormwater management, water quality management, miner training in karst issues, groundwater tracer studies.
Gypsum Mining Clients
Clark County, Nevada
Converse performed geologic mapping and analysis for gypsum deposits to help determine ore reserves and strategic mining operations. For another gypsum mine, Converse also completed Class III landfill permitting for waste material that was required to be permitted by the County.
Gold Mining Client
Southern Nevada/Eastern California
Converse provided geotechnical services for mining expansion. We also provided geologic logging during ore exploration, and groundwater resource assessment.
Copper Mining Client
Central Arizona
Converse provided numerous services for BHP Copper, including aquifer protection permitting, water resource assessment (including aquifer testing), contamination assessment, and stormwater permitting.
