Project: CITRUS COMMUNITY PARK, CORONA

Project Description and Scope of Service:
This project involved the construction of the 20-acre Citrus Community Park. The site is located in South Corona at the northwest corner of Rimpau and Taber Avenues. Construction of the park included three picnic shelters with tables and barbecue, stands, lighted two full court and half basketball courts, child and tot playground, one lighted regulation softball field, one lighted regulation soccer field, a community center building including restroom/concession building, two lighted tennis courts and park amenities including parking lots and sidewalks.
Project: GLENDALE SPORTS COMPLEX
Location: Glendale, CA
Project Description and Scope of Service:
The Glendale Sports Complex consists of batting cages, three baseball fields, and three soccer fields. It also includes three structures, consisting of a Maintenance Building founded on over-excavated and recompacted fill, and two office structures on cut rock.
Project: San Bernardino Baseball Stadium
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Project Description and Scope of Service:
San Bernardino Stadium is a baseball facility for the San Bernardino Storm. The stadium has 5,000 permanent seats. Patio and grass areas boost the total capacity to more than 7,000. The stadium is the centerpiece of an economic development program designed to re-energize downtown San Bernardino.
Project: CAMEL CASBAH
Location: Universal City, CA
Project Description and Scope of Service:
The project site is located approximately 30 feet west of the Universal Amphitheater Concourse and south of the existing KidZone Mechanical/Pump Room. The proposed structure will consist of a one-story service core with plan dimensions of approximately 31 feet by 32 feet. A shade structure with slab-on-grade, about 56 feet by 35 feet in plan dimensions, will adjoin the south side of the service core. Project: TRUMP NATIONAL GOLF CLUB
Location: Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
Project Description and Scope of Service:
Converse Consultants was retained by the Trump Organization to provide innovative engineering solutions and construction techniques to repair the 18th hole of the golf course, coastal sea bluff, access trails, bikeways, parks, and habitat preserves damaged by a catastrophic landslide failure. The project pioneered the use of deeply buried, high strength, steel shear pins to stabilize the landslide mass and preserve the natural sea cliff landform and shaveline. The repair involved the deep excavation and removal of over 1.2 million cubic yards of landslide material and slip surface within a 12 acre area.
